Mike Daley


Mike Daley Tennis is not an academy. It is a diagnostic coaching program which makes players better by improving their skills and fine-tuning their patterns, working with players who want to be successful competitors.


Mike's extensive experience in the world of tennis includes Tennis Director at The Tennis Club of Palm Beach; High Performance Coach on the ITF Junior Circuit, including the 4 "Grand Slams"; Tennis Director at the Weston Tennis Center, Weston FL; personally responsible for coaching many high level junior and college level players including Wayne Odesnik, Michael Samara, Nestor Briceno, Kevin Anderson, Greg Oeulette and Daniel Sebascen; Tennis Director at the Bonaventure Tennis Club & Academy, Weston, FL attracting players from Europe, Canada, S America and S Africa; Coach/Development and Marketing Consultant, Worldwide Tennis School, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria conducting private lessons for local juniors and adults in both German and English; Head Tennis Professional, Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows on the Big Island of Hawaii, during which time it was designated the #1 tennis resort in the world by "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous", and in 1992 helping to bring the Davis Cup USA vs. Argentina to the resort serving as liason for the players at the request of Captain Tom Gorman and John McEnroe (USA team: Agassi, Courier, McEnroe, Sampras).


Mike currently works with Davis Cup players from several nations, as well as ATP top 100 players.


It was Mike who introduced Oscar to Richard Williams at the Patrcio Apey Tennis Academy in Miami in 1999, a chance encounter during which Williams revealed his gratitude for the deep influence Oscar's methodology had on him in coaching his daughters Venus and Serena.
