Bill Patton


Bill Patton has been teaching tennis since 1988, and has been certified since 1990, first with the PTR, in 1992 with the USPTA, and now as an MTMCA Level 3 Professional.  In addition to coaching in Castro Valley and Oakland, CA Bill runs a Nike Tennis Camp in Hayward, CA and hosts the "Infinite Tennis with Bill Patton" show on Ur10s Radio.

Notable Achievements:
1990 - helped Tracey Nguyen win the NCS singles title while upsetting three higher ranked opponents along the way.
1996 - led San Leandro High School to its first HAAL title in 26 years, then another one 4 years later.
2000 - Directed the first year around junior program at Bay-O-Vista Swim and Tennis in over 15 years, quadrupled the number of USTA teams
2004 - Accepted the contract for City of Union City to work the 21 courts in town.
2006 - In his first year coaching the teams, Kennedy High School boy's snapped their 37 match losing streak, and the girl's their 71 match losing streak.
2008 - MSJ Boy's upset #1 seed in NCS
2009 - MSJ Boy's win NCS upsetting #2 and #1 seeds in the same day in 97 degree heat.  Hands off MSJ girls to Bill Nandor who lead that team to an NCS title!
2010 - Begun the work of leading Redwood Christian Girls Tennis into a new era.  Developing a comprehensive Adult Team Program.
