Julius Robinson

At age 14, Julius Robinson received his instruction from wooden walls and Tennis Magazine. He cut his teeth playing at Washington Park Tennis Center, McGhee Tennis Center and Coan Park in southwest Atlanta with his beloved Jack Kramer Autographs. His very first

job was teaching the game to inner-city kids for the City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation at age 16.

From there, Julius played junior ALTA, high school tennis and junior tournaments before playing varsity tennis at Morehouse College.  Afterwards, he strung racquets and worked as a tennis instructor for the South Atlanta Community Tennis Association's summer academy under the legendary William "Wink" Fulton.

Later, Julius served as the assistant coach for the Tri-Cities High School tennis team, directed company tournaments for Verizon Wireless and served as chairman of the Shakerag Farms Tennis Association.

After seeing a demo of Oscar teaching on tennisone.com in 2005 Julius found MTM concepts to be truly revolutionary and began re-tooling his own game, so pleased with the results that he shared Oscar’s techniques with all the teaching pros, players and students he knew.

Julius is currently a private instructor for students of all ages and is a staff instructor for Tennis Kids and Teens, Inc. and Doubles Aces, Inc.  He has had tennis tips published by the USPTA and holds USPTA and MTM teaching certifications.
